While the multinational SANY Group acts as the core technology developer, owner, and manufacturer of the electrolyzers, Putzmeister operates as the exclusive dealer and distributor for the European market. We thus bring our customers a combination of top Asian innovations with European reliability, an extensive service network, and the excellent reputation of the Putzmeister brand in heavy industry.
Tested and Reliable Solutions (AEL and Future PEM)
We currently offer highly efficient AEL (alkaline) electrolyzers that are fully ready for commercial deployment. PEM technology is currently in the stage of intensive development. We place immense emphasis on safety and quality – all variants and models we offer are thoroughly proven and have undergone rigorous trial operations conducted directly by SANY. We thus guarantee reliability even in the most demanding industrial conditions.

Our systems Putzmeister/SANY are designed for a wide spectrum of applications:
- Heavy Industry and Manufacturing: Decarbonization of processes in metallurgy (steelworks), cement manufacturing, glassmaking, and ceramics. Green hydrogen serves as a clean replacement for fossil fuels or as a direct reducing agent.
- Energy and Energy Storage (Power-to-Gas): Storage of surplus energy from renewable energy sources (RES) and stabilization of distribution grids.
- Mobility and Transport: Local hydrogen production (on-site generation) for refueling stations and support for emission-free transport.
Electrolyzer Product Lines
For the current market, we focus primarily on compact systems that enable fast and efficient integration into your operations. All our main systems are characterized by a fast production ramp-up and massive load flexibility (15–110%), making them ideal for direct connection to renewable energy sources (RES).
- Containerized Solutions V-200 and V-500: Compact AEL systems with a capacity of 200 or 500 Nm³/h. This is a modular 'Plug & Play' solution delivered in containers. They offer ideal flexibility for RES and significantly reduce installation costs and installation time.
- E-Series (E-200 / E-500 / E-1000): Standard models of alkaline electrolyzers covering a capacity spectrum from 200 to 1000 Nm³/h. They are characterized by excellent electrical efficiency (consumption ≤ 4.6 kWh/Nm³) and great synergy with fluctuating energy sources.
- Multi-in-One Systems: High-capacity skid-based solutions with a massive output from 1000 to 4000 Nm³/h. They are designed for large-scale industrial complexes and strategic projects, while fully maintaining the load flexibility required for modern energy sectors.
